Hearing Loss--Can You Hear it All?

There are some students that are using high pitched ringtones because although their young ears can still hear it ring, the teacher cannot. The site above mentions selling the mosquito ringtone...annoying, at best, but still interesting. Did you notice your hearing start to decrease at a young age or was it not obvious until there was enough of a decrease at older ages?
