Tattoos, tattoos, and more tattoos! EvilTattoo.com

There are so many tattoos that I spent way longer than I'd care to admit, looking through them to find one to use as a picture for this post.

Needless to say, I gave up. There are just too many to choose from!

This isn't your typical "show off your latest tattoo" site either. They have collections of black and white photos even of tattoos from generations past. And the pictures are all separated into nice, neat little categories so if you're looking for something specific, it's there. From aliens to zodiac tattoos, I can't even imagine how many photos are there. You can also browse by body part....from ankle tattoos to wrist tattoos.

Lip Tattoos

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
As a follow up to my post on knuckle tattoos, here's a tribute to those with lip tattoos. (You'd think I had a ton myself or that I was obsessed with tattoos....but neither is true....I find some interesting, but really, these just happened to cross my path and I decided to post 'em anyway...hehe). Apparently the site I'm looking at has tons of other tattoo categories, too, but it was the lip ones that were passed my way, so that's where I'll start.

Of course, he has everything copyrighted, and even has the whole "don't duplicate/republish" stuff, so I'll be nice and not show you a few here. It's unlikely that you'll head on over considering I don't have anything to tease you with, but whatever....his loss, not mine, lol. There really are some interesting ones, though....I mean, who thinks to put 'Vegan' on the inside of their lip? I'm lovin' the "thought crime" one, too....wonder why the inside of the lip is where these people chose to put their tats....

Oooooh!! Go check out the glow in the dark ones. There are 18 pages of those, as opposed to the 2 1/2 of the lip ones. Here's the main site if you're interested in looking at the geek tats, fairies, or even the removal ones (some are rather graphic, so careful). A ton more categories, too...

More nerdy tattoos

yoda tattoo

Here's a list of 10 nerdy tattoos that the author describes as "the most horrifying." Most are freshly done so if you're squeamish about open cuts or the sight of blood, you likely shouldn't click, but the tattoos themselves are really well done (like the dragon) and not "horrifying" in my mind at all. There's even an NES controller* and Pacman!

Then again, I like nerdy things. ;)

* The controller is sadly the most "horrifying" because it shows two very fresh, bloody pictures, and it's rather large....like, larger than an actual controller would be, so not the greatest, but oh well.

Top 7 Strange Mr. T Tattoos

A couple are surprisingly well done, but I think the rest of the Mr. T tattoos may have missed the mark a bit. Click each picture to see a larger version and be taken to the site I found them on. Beware...some of the sites have even stranger tattoos. :P

Owl tattoos galore

Owl tattoos is a site of just that. Who knew there were so many people with tattoos...of just owls? To give you an idea, there've been right at 350 posts over the last couple years, and most posts feature more than one tattoo each, so yikes!

The Wonderful World of Knuckle Tattoos....

I'm not sure how I stumbled across this site. It has been sitting in the recently created folder in my firefox bookmark bar labeled "ThingsB." If I had more room to spare, it'd, of course say, "Things to Blog," but I don't and it isn't. I could say BlogThings, too, but that's already been taken (and now shortened to BThings to avoid nosy fellow employees when I'm at work who like to stop and chit chat....what I have on my toolbar is none of their business, lol) for the various things that I use on my blog, like counters, color codes, and a few other things that you don't want to know about. Shhh...

So right, it's been sitting there, and now it's not...because now I'm going to tell you about it. Knuckle Tattoos (yes, I linked again because I don't expect you to go back up and click a link just to figure out what I"m talking about) has numerous pages full of people who have tattoos across their knuckles (creative name, huh? :P). They even have double deckers listed for those with stacked sets of letters or symbols. Some might expect it to be full of ones like this:
But it gets crazier (and I in no way mean that as a bad thing....crazy is good!):
I didn't mention that they each have a short blurb about them, did I? It usually gives the story about what their tats mean. Here's this guys:

These beauties belong to Anima from Boston. The reason he got this design was because he is an audio/mastering engineer.
They get more creative and/or insightful, too:
The reason?

Nerdcore. This is a function for a mathematical singularity. When x=0 this function fails to compute. As x approaches zero from either direction, it approaches either negative or positive infinity. Cameron had this to say about his tattoo:

I got the tattoo because I like the idea of math not being well behaved. That sound’s lame and I really don’t mean that in some kind of A is for Anarchy type way. I just think that its kind of nice that something as perfectly fuctional as math can kink up around the edges.

Deep, huh? And for the gamers out there:And...

I'm gonna link again because this page (notice that I've only made it through page 3) has some description that just has to be read and I'm not going to copy and paste all the different photos and their specific descriptions that go with them. They list a few that are more than just double deckers, and they're interesting. Like this one:
And this one (he has a spider on his palm, too...):Little much for you? Well there are more subtle ones, too....
This lovely young lady here is named Gretchen and this is what she has to say about her knuckle tattoo:

It’s for my cousin J.W. that’s in the Navy. He has an anchor on his arm. I never get to see him now that’s he’s in the Navy.

What a way to support the troops.
How about simple, but full of even more meaning? I wonder how many times he's told this story...
"Its from an old system of hobo symbols. Whenever a hobo would get to a new town they would leave messages for other tramps about the quirks of that perticular town. Like “the cops here will try and kill you” or “the old lady who lives here will give you food” this one means “this is a good place to rest” which is what i needed at the point in my life when i got them. It’s also the meteorological symbol for mist… go figure.
–jamie"

I absolutely love it. And now on to one that didn't take much thought:
When asked why he chose the name of his home town he replied, “Well, it’s got eight letters and I’m always going to be from there.

*Giggles* Is it bad that I first read that as "sha-mokin'?" As in, if something is 'on fire' it's "shaaa-mokin'!" Hehe. It's 3:30am...leave me alone.

From there, you're on your own. I only linked to a handful out of the 9 or so pages worth, so there are a ton more....some are typical ones that you'd expect like "hard core" and "survivor" but there are certainly others. Now I'm left wondering what I would put on mine. Maybe I'd just label them "knuckles" and leave it at that....

Lip art - Pokemon, crabs, pandas, and a whole lotta lipstick fun

Photobucket

Tattoos and fingernail art are awesome, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen lip paint art like this before. Sure, face painted animals are common at fairs and zoos, but when do they ever just do your lips? Never!

There are more awesome foxes, Pokémon, bees, and even a hippo shown here. Too cute.

Addictions from the Outer Limits (Guest)

Duck Hunt Legos

This is another guest post from Sarah. She wrote about the kissing laws in Dubai
last time and now she's back for round 2 with a post about strange addictions.

In this day and age, our lives are peppered with the curious and bizarre, from children who pull stunts so their parents can land reality TV contracts, to globe-trotting celebrities who look at third world countries like kid-hatcheries, to our peculiar fascination with the tabloid media (bat boys and goat boys and sasquatch, oh my!).  From the eccentric to the straight up stupid, our society revels in oddball, off-the-wall, outlandish, and abnormal people and behaviors.  And so it’s no surprise that addicts can’t stick to traditional arenas like alcohol or sleeping pills.  Some people suffer from addictions that are so unusual, you’ve probably never even heard of them.  Here are a few.
    1. Geophagy, or addiction to dirt, is not as uncommon as one might think and it involves, you guessed it, ingesting dirt.  Yep, people with this addiction actually eat dirt.  It’s generally attributed to chronic mental illness in “civilized” society, but many economically depressed countries have a long history of adding dirt to their diet as a way to combat mineral deficiencies.  Like potatoes, you can mash ‘em, boil ‘em, and cook ‘em in a stew.  Or go au naturel and eat it raw (if you don’t mind passing a few inedible bits).
    2. Plastic surgery addicts have only really surfaced in the last fifty years or so, with the advances in modern medicine making such procedures safer and more affordable.  This addiction tends to stem from a condition known as Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), in which the subject focuses on a perceived defect in their physical appearance.  They try to correct it through round after round of plastic surgery in a futile attempt to attain physical perfection, all the while making themselves look even more freakish than before.  Keep an eye on Heidi Montag…we should soon see her headlining at the Jim Rose Circus.
    3. Did you hear about that Swedish guy who is addicted to heavy metal music and receives disability for it (allowed time off work to attend concerts)?  This sounds like a straight up scam, but I have to give him props for being inventive (and astonishingly, convincing others).
    4. If you’ve never heard of plushophilia, it’s a good thing I’m here to explain it, because if you like to laugh, you need to know about this one.  “Plushies” (those that suffer from plushophilia) fall under the broad heading of sex addicts and their particular obsession revolves around arousal brought on by stuffed animals (not like taxidermy stuffing, like the kind you give your niece for her fifth birthday).  The sphere of plushophilia can also include cartoon animals and can even extend as far as animal anthropomorphism (in which fur suits are worn to make one or both partners appear to be stuffed animals).  Makes you look at your teddy bear in a whole different way, doesn’t it?
    5. This one is so weird, I can’t rightly say if it’s a hoax, but I sure hope it’s real, because it’s amazing!  Apparently there is at least one person in the world who is addicted to licking Legos.  Do you know what that means?  If they don’t get to lick a Lego on a regular basis, they will go through some form of anxiety or withdrawal.  This disorder is so rare that it has no name, but I think we could reasonably call it either Legophagy (although technically they don’t eat the Legos) or LickLegophilia.  That second one has a nice ring to it.

Well, it really doesn’t get any better than that.  A few that deserve honorable mentions are dendrophilia (arousal by trees), body mods (piercing, tattoos), and one that hits close to home for most of us, addiction to video games (affects almost every man in my life, alas).  These ones weren’t quite weird enough to make the list, but they’re still kind of heart-wrenching (how can a tree love you back?).  It just goes to show that almost anyone can suffer from a strange and debilitating addiction.   But there’s no need to despair.  Unless you’re the guy that licks Legos, chances are good that you’re not the only one.

Art for a dollar (Make it Rain)

Who said art has to be expensive? This would've worked well back during my Quirky Art Month, but I wanted to share it now anyway.

Caroline has more pictures of the dollar art, where Scott Campbell laser-etched his designs into stacks of $1 bills. While I thought the idea was quirky, when I followed her link to Campbell's website, it turns out he's a tattoo artist, too....and has some beautifully done tattoos that you might want to look through.

Christmas Shopping with Rules

So it's a Friday night and my weekend of blogging has officially begun. I would've started sooner, but somehow I managed to convince myself to get some actual work done first. There's still plenty to be done, but it's 2 in the morning and I deem myself off-duty. I have several things I want to cover in the next couple days of piecing together stuff here from tree menopause to knuckle tattoos. Anywho, on with the blogging....

Apparently there are about 44 days left until Christmas and some people started shopping months ago....others won't shop until a maximum of a week before the holiday. Regardless, some gift giving comes with rules. Most are at least somewhat conscious of giving 'equivalent' gifts to people they hold on the same level (like giving your two best friends gifts that are of equal importance and are both equally as special....or spending about the same amount of money on each grandchild).
This couple, though, goes so far as to limit where they can shop and exactly what their limit of money spent can be.

This year, Jon and I have decided to make holiday-shopping for a each other just a bit more challenging: Gifts can only be purchased at Target, with a specific spending cap that we have agreed upon. Yes, receipts must be presented and numbers will be tallied.
Hehe. I actually quite enjoy this idea. She goes on to say how it's harder than she thought because although she shops at Target quite often, it's usually for household items....not for each other. Regardless, it limits that guessing game of trying to figure out how much is too much, and how much is not enough. Yes, yes, it's supposed to be from the heart and price doesn't matter.....but if the guy buys an expensive diamond ensemble and she gets him a tie....see the problem? I thought it was interesting to limit the place to Target, too, because it could lead to some creativity on either part....after all, if they're usually shopping there for toilet paper and toothbrushes, finding gifts that say "I put real thought into this." 'can' be quite the challenge.

I'll have to remember this for future reference. Now I'm never one who can easily answer the question "What do you want for Christmas?" because in all honesty, I don't 'want' anything....I much prefer giving...but this could get even more interesting if we decided on a different kind of place. How about....a pet food store (I wonder if he prefers dry or with gravy)....or a thrift store (Hey, I could get 10 pair of used underwear for a dollar!). Victoria's Secret could be fatal....I can see him now..."here honey, I bought this for 'you'" as I unwrap the tiniest piece of lingerie I've ever seen. And by limiting it to a smaller place, I wonder what the odds of getting each other the same thing would be....after all, we probably enjoy similar things, right? (Although I can honestly say we'd have two clearly different perspectives in the VS department, lol).
And when do they tally the receipts? Maybe those should be the stocking stuffers. I was going to say that they'd need to go through them after they opened the gifts, but it could be equally as interesting if they did it 'before'. Stores always abbreviate items in weird ways or leave it completely generic....so it'd leave you guessing what each one meant. If they're going to compare numbers, they might as well make it a bit fun.(This pic was from a woman's blog about going to hell actually...notice the order number...)

Have any last minute gifts still needed?

Don't worry! Just print your special message onto a part of Santa and deliver via email. You can choose from his chest, tummy, arm, upper back, lower back, and even his knuckles! Come on, who doesn't love a great set of knuckle tattoos or a picture of your face on Santa's back?

Anywho, hope you don't mind a little butt crack love!  Merry Christmas!

In Prison, Toddlers Serve Time with Mom

The article I have excerpted below discusses how in Mexico, children born in prison stay with their mothers until the age of 6. Some people think it's ridiculous while others think it's beneficial to everyone involved, even though it's not typical of what most of us are used to or would expect. What do you think about this?

Fifty-three children under the age of 6 live inside the prison with their mothers, who are serving sentences for crimes from drug dealing to kidnapping to homicide. Mothers dressed in prison blue, many with tattoos, carry babies on their hips around the exercise yard. Others lead toddlers and kindergartners by the hand, play with them in the dust or bounce them on their knees on prison benches.

Karina Rendón, a 23-year-old serving time for drug dealing, said her 2-year-old daughter thought of the 144-square-foot cell she shared with two other mothers and their children as home. “She doesn’t know it is a prison,” she said, smiling sadly. “She thinks it’s her house.”

While a prison may seem an unhealthy place for a child, in the early 1990s the Mexico City government decided it was better for children born in prison to stay with their mothers until they were 6 rather than to be turned over to relatives or foster parents. The children are allowed to leave on weekends and holidays to visit relatives.

A debate continues among Mexican academics over whether spending one’s early years in a jail causes mental problems later in life, but for the moment the law says babies must stay with their mothers. So the prison has a school with three teachers.

The warden, Margarita Malo, said the children had a calming effect on the rest of the inmates. The presence of children also inspires the mothers to learn skills or, in many cases, to kick drug habits that landed them in trouble in the first place.

And even though the prison is full of women capable of violence, the children usually walk safely among them, as if protected by an invisible shield. It is as though they tap the collective maternal instinct of the 1,680 women locked up here.

Why Parents Go Gray (Joke)

Okay guys, I'm finally back at school and although classes start up again Monday and I'll still be slow, it 'is' about time I get some of this stuff that's cluttering up my firefox bookmarks and email accounts posted and out of my way for everyone else to enjoy. :D

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see that his
bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then he saw an
envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow that was addressed to
"Dad."

With the Worst premonition he opened the envelope with trembling hands
and read the letter.

Dear Dad:

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to
elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom
and you. I have been finding real passion with Stacy and she is so nice.
But I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercings,
tattoos, tight motorcycle clothes and the fact that she is much older
than I am. But it's not only the passion...Dad she's pregnant.

Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods
and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of
having many more children. Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that
marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it for ourselves
and trading it with the other people that live nearby for cocaine and
ecstasy. In the meantime we will pray that science will find a cure for
AIDS so Stacy can get better. She deserves it.

Don't worry Dad. I'm 15 and I know how to take care of myself. Someday
I'm sure that we will be back to visit so that you can get to know your
grandchildren.

Love, Your Son, John

PS. Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at Tommy's house. I just
wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than a report
card, that's in my center desk drawer.

I love you.

Call me when it's safe to come home.

Hair Cuts and Nose Piercings

So I should definitely not be up right now....and I should not be posting, of all things....but if I'm going to be up, I might as well, eh?

*kicks all the Canadians she knows*

It's just a good thing I can type so quickly because otherwise, it'd make me look like I had way more time on my hands than I really do. How I manage to write this much, I'm not sure, but then again, I used to hand write things quite often during classes in school, so this is much more time efficient. I guess it helps that I'm only taking a set amount of classes and working a single part time job, too. I really 'do' have too much time on my hands compared to what I should, but I'm still busier than people realize so....there's my mini-explanation.

Above me (well, above this box) I have several firefox tabs open. So many, in fact, that it's gone beyond merely shrinking the size of the tabs, to now adding an arrow so I can scroll to the hidden ones that no longer fit. Half of the tabs are ones that I've looked at in the last 20 minutes and that I will continue to bounce back and forth with. The other half are tabs that I've left open specifically for the purpose of mentioning here for one reason or another.

Guess what time it is. Yep, you got it. Time to touch on those so I can close the tabby thingys and move on with my life. Weeee...!!!

So first things first. I already have the title in place, so I absolutely must talk about them. It's in an unwritten contract, ya know? Everything here is allowed to be edited, but once that title goes in, it's there to stay. I rarely write the title before the rest (whether it's here, in emails, for stories, blah, blah, blah), but because I did this time, I'm bound. I don't know what they (the blog police, that is) would do to me if I broke that rule, hidden in the fine print of the blog manual I never received. ~shifty eyes~

I wonder if they'll mind if I talk about them in reverse order, though....because I stumbled across them in reverse. Maybe they'll only torture me partially for screwing it up. And now I'm wondering what the favorite blog police torture treatment is. And how does one become part of this elite group of internet weirdos? Hmmm.

I'm never going to get to the point at this rate. Rawr!
This is the nose piercings issue. For those of you who stumble across my blog and obviously have the time to waste on reading random blogs, then read through that. For those of you who are only here because you are stalking me, then I'll summarize for you:

A woman takes out her nose ring. A layer of skin grows, so that she can't put it back in. She asks her husband if she should get it redone. He tells her that if it'll make the hole bigger, don't bother, but otherwise go ahead. She brings up that he seems nonchalant about it when he originally didn't like it anyway. He still doesn't like it, but it's her choice, and because she's already done it, there's nothing to fight about. He continues to go into detail with her about her appearance and how he doesn't necessarily think it fits her (she's 38 and he feels like she's still trying to portray a much younger age). They go back and forth discussing how he thinks she needs to notice how she looks on the outside to other people, in addition to making sure she's still portraying herself and her personality.....and she goes on to say things like " I was following my own style. It seems you’ve mistaken that for the style of someone twenty years old." Back and forth, back and forth. It gets somewhat lengthy in descriptions and counterpoints at one point, but here's a good clip in the beginning:

Wife: Oh. I thought maybe after you saw it you didn’t think it was so bad but it seems your opinion hasn’t changed. On a scale of 1-10, just out of curiosity, how bad does this look on me?

Husband: I’d say it’s a 8-9. You’re about 15 years too old to wear that in my opinion.

Wife: With 10 being the worst?

Husband: Yep.

Wife: I see.

Husband: You asked.

Wife: Yeah, I did.

Husband: This is in no way meant as an insult. This is how much I dislike tattoos and needles in the face of anyone. I don’t think it’s attractive at all.

Wife: So you think it’d be okay to start dying my hair those bright, fruity colors “women my age” all do, then?

Why am I talking about this? Because I *love* how they react to one another. He's perfectly comfortable telling her that he finds it unattractive...and she's perfectly comfortable accepting this, and then somewhat defending her own actions, while still listening to his points. He even admits his own faults about trying to look sportier than he is and she talks about why she wears tennis shoes instead of high heels. He finishes the phone call with:
Husband: I love you. I really, really love you with all my heart.
You'd think that this could've easily been an intense argument....a husband telling his wife that she should consider dressing more appropriate for her age (hello...that would just scream "you're getting old!!" to the majority of the women I know in that age range). Instead, it was interesting to see each other's sides....and even better to see how she finished her entry:
(I retired the nose piercing. I’ve decided to get one in a different, less obvious place soon. What can I say? The nonconformist in me is hard to kill.)

*Giggles* I'm actually kind of surprised she didn't get it repierced there out of spite or rebellion alone, but it looks like she's going to get her own sweet satisfaction anyway while still listening to her husband's concerns. I SO WANT THAT! I'm jealous, lol.

I can't help but wonder now wear she's going to pierce for it to be 'less obvious'. Not that I want to further point out her age, but I adore that she's 38 and still so spunky/feisty about things like this. I want 'that', too, although I hope I'm not going in for more piercings by that time. I can just see me now....showing off my hidden body alterations to my kids/grandkids. On second thought, maybe it'd make the rest of the neighborhood kids like me (because you know most of them will be using me for my cookies anyway)....and then I can draw them in and corrupt them 'all'. *Adds piercings to her list of extra things to do by the time she's 40* Hehe. ~more of those wonderful shifty eyes....and let's toss in an evil grin, too~

Do you think this would be a bit too much? I don't want to scare them....yet....

-----------------------------------------------------

Ya see, now the hair cut one doesn't really fit, but it's still about pointing out other people's blogs (which I love doing now, by the way, because I've met some great people during my blog stalking, and I like being able to pass on links to other people....they enjoy getting new readers, the new readers enjoy a quick laugh/etc, and I enjoy being able to make it happen, hehe).

So right, hair cuts. The subject seems to keep coming up in the last week from discussing how much people will pay for them to needing one myself (it's not even Thanksgiving and it's already reached the point of where I'm wearing it up more than not because it needs cut) to now this.

I giggled at this one, too. A long story short (although not as giggle worthy), a woman doesn't like her hair cut, wants it redone, but insists that it be done 'today' (well, it was Friday) because she can't have it done during full moon. This was from the perspective of the woman who left the salon four hours later because the stylist had to keep messing with the crazy lady who couldn't decide what she really wanted done....but that had to have it done 'right then'. She ends her blog with:

Four hours after entering the salon, Janna emerges and travels across town to meet Sanjay and Rob, her Kansas City road trip crew.

S and R: WHAT THE FUCK!?!
J: This woman needed her hair cut before the full moon.

-blank, incredulous stares-

J: Yeah, that was my thought.
S: Who is that crazy?
J: I am pleased to say that I not only know the answer to that question, I have also met her in person.

Hehe. Fortunately for that woman, I've met crazier....

Ya know what makes this worse, though? (No, of course you don't...but rest assured, I'm going to tell you). The woman didn't want her hair cut during the full moon because it was bad luck. But 'I' have always heard that you 'should' cut it during the full moon to promote faster growing/thicker hair. Maybe she's against having full hair....or maybe this is her way of prolonging her hair cut and ultimately saving herself some money. If she does it like this every time, and her hair doesn't grow as much, then maybe she'll be able to skip a hair cut each year. Can you imagine how much money this chick is saving? (Personally, it wouldn't save me a dime because I don't pay for mine, but judging from the conversations in the last week, some people pay some decent money for a hair cut :S).
Wanna make it even slightly more disturbing? I went and searched this topic online to verify that I wasn't imagining the advice about cutting it during a full moon. Turns out, I'm not crazy at all (well, not for this anyway). There are obviously (well, imaginable, at least) theories on this for one way or another.
Along my way, I stumbled across a Long Hair Community, too. Hehe. Oh the wonders of internet randomizing. It's like drunk dialing....but without the alcohol. Oh geez....can you imagine 'adding' the alcohol? I run across all sorts of things when given some time online when I'm sober(and no, it's not just due to my own curiosity or random link clicking....people actually send me some of this crap, too, and that's just asking for trouble).

The song Long Haired Country Boy is now running through my mind. This is sad. *Giggles and pictures the nose piercing lady dancing to the old song in a goofy manner* Pathetic, I tell ya. Hehe.

Stay Tuned for Your Previously Scheduled Program

My dear viewers, this one's for you. Okay, so actually, it's for me, I guess, but it's *about* you.

*Pause*

Four commas in one sentence? No, it's not uncommon for me, but geesh, it can still be annoying and noticeable. Comma, comma, comma. Poor things. I guess they enjoy being used, but what if they start feeling abused instead?

*Unpause*So right, yes, I have viewers. You may or may not be one of the regulars, but it doesn't make much difference to me. I didn't expect to have this many people even occasionally stopping by, much less this many regulars after only a month (read-I didn't expect many viewers *ever*). Most of the driveby viewers completely randomly get here by clicking links on someone else's blog or using one of two 'randomizers.' Only a few of you are people I actually know, at this point, so that's kinda cool.

But what makes any of it worthy of blogging? Those few people who have gotten here through search results. I mentioned early on how my Gangbanged Duck rape post was going to get random sexual searchers like my NYC naked cowboy post from my summer Xanga account did. Surprisingly enough, I haven't gotten anyone who's searched for that stuff, so again, that's kinda cool.
Is there a point? Yes, I'm glad you asked! :P I want to mention those few lone searchers that stumbled here, completely unaware of what they were getting into, and whose searches stood out enough for me to....well, mention.

The first one caught me off guard because it could've been so incredibly personal. As my About Me section says, I want to keep this completely public and if I wouldn't want my mother reading it, I wouldn't post it. That doesn't mean I actually expect certain people to ever stumble across this. So to my surprise, when someone somehow got here after searching for details about an accident that happened in my birth town, I was a bit caught off guard.

For you to understand a bit more, you'll need to know that I've moved around quite a bit, that I only lived there for a year or two after birth, and that it's a rather small, secluded town that no one's ever heard of. It's one of those no name places out in the boondocks that if a person gets out, they don't go back unless they have to, and they certainly don't mention the name ever again. I obviously haven't posted the name myself, but because it's a two part name, one of my long posts just happened to have had both parts in it....and it had the date they were looking for. It brought back a sudden whiff of nostalgia I didn't know I had, lol. It's obviously no one I know, but what a coincidence (do you believe those exist?) that something so secluded and random brought them here!No worries, the next two take far less description and are slightly more fun to look at, hehe.

"what does jessi want for christmas" I mean, who searches for that?? I want to know who Jessi is, and why on earth she'd publish her christmas wish list online without giving a direct link to those she wants to view it. I could put the blame on the searcher, though, and go into possible details that I really want to mention here, lol.So me, being who I am, curious in nature and quirky in presentation, went and searched for this. Low and behold, there I am, with the very first page being a link to my post about Christmas shopping rules. At first I thought, that's definitely not what he/she was looking for, but then again, I did have a picture of a crotchless underwear posted, so maybe that 'is' what he/she wanted after all. Granted, if that's the case, he/she would probably want them to be modeled instead, but hey, if it's my wish list, I have to have them in hand before I can model, right?
The last one that I'll mention for now (because once again, it's 4am when I'm posting....my best excuse for not doing something more productive is that my lights are off and it's not the greatest idea to be writing articles at this time....so I write blog entries instead), is

"firefox bookmark bar" double
And yes, there's a reason I put it on a separate line instead of merely quoting it like I did in the last one. Notice that this guy (instead of using he/she, we're going to break a major rule here and assume, for the sake of simplicity, that it's a male) is a bit more savvy with his searches. He's taken the time to quote a specific portion of his search desire and add yet another modifier at the end. The problem, though, is that the fourth result down is my post about double decker knuckle tattoos, lol. Poor thing. He was off searching for a way to have his firefox bookmark bar on two rows (and yeah, I'm assuming this, but considering I recently desired the same thing, I feel his pain and know this was likely his intent....awwww.....it's a match made in, uh, google searches!) and instead, he got random pics of people who like tattooing their fingers. I almost feel bad for the guy....but then my mind is off and running again, thinking about other randomness....randomness, that although perfectly random and bloggable (it claims that's not a word, but I beg to differ), doesn't belong randomly blogged in this random blog, because it really wants to be in a completely separate random blog entry. Hehe...

Oh right, and before I forget, a shout out for all you blocked referrers who have "internet security software or browser settings set to the term "blockedReferrer" or "hiddenReferrer", rather than the true referring URL information." It's not like I can find out anything about you anyway, but geesh, I just wanna know how you got here! Lol.
