Yep, it's giveaway time, although this time you'll have more time to enter. Up for grabs is this beautiful set of two rice bowls, chopsticks, and bamboo placemats, along with two coupons to sample the new Wanchai Ferry Chinese meals.
This is great for those nights where you want to stay-in, but still enjoy a nice meal. Each meal is ready in only 14 minutes and get this, no MSG! Your choices include orange chicken, shrimp lo mein, spicy garlic chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and sweet and spicy shrimp. Mmm.
I'll be doing a more in-depth review of my own experience with the dishes over at Quirky Cookery, but in the meantime, let's show you how to get your own set.

I commented on the Nutella wontons over at Quirky Cookery.
The best fortune I have ever gotten was talking about me going on a trip sometime soon... I am still waiting, but a trip soon would be awfully good right about now.
My sister and BIL adopted a little girl (who is now 6) from China and they want to make sure she knows some of her heritage. They are teaching her Mandarin (which they both speak) and taking her to Chinese restaurants, etc.
What a beautiful set.

I love most Chinese foods. Sweet and sour pork is one of my favorites, and I really miss "pressed duck." Our local Chinese mom & pop restaurant had it, but they closed down. Can't find it anywhere else.
Here's my two latest cookie fortunes:
"You will soon be confronted with unlimited opportunities."
"Don't worry about the stock market, invest in family."
I think they are pretty appropriate given our current economy.

I love Wanchai Ferry! My son has been on a chicken and rice kick lately, and I use wanchai ferry (either the boxed kits where you add your own meat, or the frozen bags that include everything) about once a week on nights that I don't have time to do it all from scratch.
Here is one entry for my comment :)
